Momentum is currently looking for experienced Street Cleaners/Truck Drivers for an immediate start in Ultimo and/or Alexandria locations. About the role
As a Truck Driver/Street Cleaner you will be responsible for the following:
- Street Sweeping
- Street Maintenance - ensuring streets around Alexandria and Ultimo suburbs remain neat & tidy
- Rubbish Removal - changing and hosing bins
- Removing litter from paths i.e leaves, waste
- Driving company Truck as required - minimal portion of the day
- Predominantly manual / labour intensive role
Shift Pattern: 5.45am-1.50pm - Monday to Friday
Role commencement: Immediate start.
Pay rate: $35-37p/h pay rate
To be successful, you will possess the following:
- As this role is 5 days/week Monday to Friday, only candidates with unlimited work rights will be short-listed
- Must be available for an immediate start
- Must hold a valid Truck License (LF, MR, HR, HC accepted)
- Physically fit, accustomed to repetitive lifting
- Must be comfortable working predominately outdoors
- Must have a valid Police Check or willing to obtain
- Previous Street Sweeping/Cleaning experience highly advantageous
- Strong work ethic - we are looking for reliability, punctuality and ability to work independently and as part of a team
