Our client, a premium supplier and manufacturer of metal products, are seeking experienced Welders to join their busy team in Maddington. Highly experienced in MIG welding and with a proven ability to read and interpret design drawings, you will be responsible for the welding of metal fabricated handrails, walkways and other items. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door with a friendly and supportive company. Offering competitive rates of pay and Monday - Friday working hours, this position is available for an immediate start!

Benefits

· Monday - Friday: 6am - 2:30pm.

· Attractive hourly rate - $40 per hour.

· Based in Maddington

About the role

As an experienced Welder you will be responsible for the following:

· Carrying out welding activities on steel fabricated products.

· Read and interpret drawings and work with design specifications.

· Set up components for welding according to specifications.

· Test and inspect welded components for flaws.

· Grinding components as necessary to achieve proper surface texture.

· Working predominantly with steel fabricated handrails - but with the opportunity to expand for the right candidate.

To be successful, you will possess the following:

· Be a qualified Welder (2nd Class Welders accepted).

· Proven ability to read and interpret drawings and work to specification.

· Highly experienced in MIG welding.

· Experience in welding steel structural fabrications.

· Able to pass a welding test.

· Exceptional team player.

· Work in accordance with all WHS rules on site.

· Hold full working rights in Australia.
