They are currently recruiting for experienced Stevedore Labourer's with an immediate start, offering flexible shifts and rosters with competitive payrates!

About the role
- As a Stevedore Labourer, you will be responsible for the following:
- Operation of various machinery including forklifts, skid steers, and excavators
- Handling general duties related to loading and unloading, including securing and releasing loads
- Driving and moving cars out of vessels around the Port to designated areas (must be able to drive manual)
- Performing basic pre-start checks and routine maintenance of equipment
- Carrying out basic security and clerical tasks, such as record keeping and tallying
- Ensuring all operations are conducted safely, with immediate reporting of any safety breaches or incidents
To be successful, you will possess the following:
- Demonstrated experience in a logistics role
- Valid Manual Driver's License
- Valid Forklift License (preferred)
- Physically fit, able to lift up to 30 kgs
- Flexibility to work shifts over a 7-day, 24-hour period
- Availability to attend work at short notice
- Must be willing to obtain MSIC card
- Previous manual handling experience (highly regarded)
- Must be physically fit
- Full PPE equipment
- Must have a good understanding of WHS procedures, Safety and Environmental and Heavy vehicle legislation and standards
