Momentum is currently recruiting for an experienced Team Leader for an exciting opportunity in Eastern Creek.
This will be working for a national leader within the Supply & Logistics industry. This client is offering a permanent role, Monday to Friday, with a competitive salary!
About the role
As Warehouse Team Leader, you will be responsible for the following:
- Assist in running an efficient warehouse operation which can fulfil operational and customer demand and meet set targets.
- Train new Warehouse operatives within area of responsibility.
- Ensure inventories in area of responsibility are accurate.
- Ensure stock movements are recorded accurately.
- Support organising and participate in stock takes as requested (Includes cycle counting).
- Ensure that any computerised or automated systems are accurate and up to date.
- Identify any systems improvements and make recommendations for change.
- Manage time and attendance for operatives within area of responsibility and support supervisor with people management issues.
- Communicate with staff on a regular basis to make them aware of priorities, targets and operational requirements.
- Support with recruitment and train staff as well as monitor performance and progress to ensure targets are met.
- Report progress updates, key achievements and any concerns to the Warehouse Supervisor and/or Manager Relationship Management.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies as and when required in a timely way.
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7.30am-3.30pm.
To be successful, you will possess the following:
- Minimum 12 months proven Team Leader experience within Warehouse environment
- Minimum 2 years proven Warehousing experience.
- Must hold valid NSW LF Forklift Ticket.
- Must have proven Counterbalance and High Reach Forklift experience.
- Excellent WHS Knowledge.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
