Our client is an award-winning organisation, and they have an opportunity for an experienced Sustainable Transport Education Officer to join their Transport Planning & Advocacy team. You will be helping our client to implement their bicycle initiatives program to the wider community of Banyule.

About the role
As a Sustainable Transport Education Officer you will be responsible for the following:
- Implementing the local councils bicycle initiative to schools and the local community.
- Delivering bicycle education and upskilling events.
- When required design/implement/evaluate the current sustainable transport capacity programs with the local school community.
- Collaborate with the Safe and Sustainable Transport Officer on the delivery of these initiatives.
- Ensure initiatives are completed within timeframes and budgets.
- Presenting in front of primary/secondary and the local community.
To be successful, you will possess the following:
- Demonstrated project management experience in council.
- Good communicator - being able to deliver presentations in a school or community setting.
- Knowledge of community engagement, capacity building or behavior change programs.
- Adaptable and agile with changes.
- Able to work on the two days listed above.
- Working rights - be able to work 16 hours per week.
- Must be able to provide 2 work references.
