About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Officer to join our clients dynamic Quality Team. This role is crucial in ensuring the continuous improvement of their Quality and Food Safety programs and compliance with internal, customer, and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will be based in Revesby and will also operate across the Marrickville site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure Workplace Health & Safety compliance and promote a culture of safety.
- Uphold and exemplify the company values: Together, Committed, Authentic, and Creative.
- Manage supplier assessments and maintain certification records.
- Conduct material assessments, control, and quarantine status updates.
- Coordinate and participate in internal and customer audits.
- Support the implementation of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Cover for the Quality Manager and QA officers when necessary.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role within the raw materials FMCG space
- Extensive experience in food manufacturing or manufacturing
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and QMS
- Experience in audit and inspection coordination
- HACCP qualification desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or related field
- Understanding of legislative requirements (Environment)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access)
- Ability to develop and present reports and presentations
- Team player with a continuous improvement mindset
