Momentum is currently recruiting for an experienced Receiving Supervisor for an exciting opportunity in Eastern Creek.
This will be working for a national leader within the Supply & Logistics industry. This client is offering a permanent role, Monday to Friday, with a competitive salary!
About the role
As Warehouse Receiving Supervisor you will be responsible for the following:
- Overseeing the receipt and inventory of all incoming materials both physically and in the WMS
- Schedule and coordinate unload crews 24 hours in advance in line with the container schedule
- Manage daily customer returns procedures in line with agreed SLAs, including receiving, inspection, and handling customer quality complaints
- Prepare all paperwork for shipments, inbound containers, and LCLs prior to arrival for the unload and breakdown teams
- Participate in RF inventory scanning
- Direct inbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance, or logistics quality management
- Maintain accurate billing documents (Adhoc sheets, FCLs, and LCLs) in a timely manner
- Provide training and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7.30am-3.30pm.
To be successful, you will possess the following:
- Minimum 12 months proven Receiving Supervisor experience within Warehouse environment
- Minimum 2 years proven Warehousing experience.
- Excellent WHS Knowledge.
- Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting, and handling materials.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
