They are seeking a dynamic Planning and Scheduling Coordinator to join their Victorian operations and enhance the client experience while driving business growth.
As the Planning and Scheduling Coordinator, you will obtain the highest level of organisation skills and time management. This role requires an initiative-taking approach to get ahead of the daily changes which can affect schedules and planning. You will be required to manage Schedules for two of their largest sites.

Your role will be to:
- Review MRP Purchasing requirements to ensure appropriate ordering of materials/components
- Maintaining precise scheduling data and ensuring timely deliveries
- Oversee and maintain accurate inventory levels to prevent out-of-stock situations.
- Monitoring Manufacturing, Logistical and cargo movement to ensure on time schedules and planning.
- Work with Production, Warehouse and Distribution departments to balance customer demand, production, and inventory constraints
- Create weekly detailed production schedules for 2 Sites.
- Plan labour requirements and work with the Supervisors to ensure that both labour and plan are aligned
- Adapting to the daily changes which can implicate schedules.
- Multi-site stock control: Including participating in monthly stock-take counting/reporting.
- Provide customer service on customer enquiries and sample requests using Microsoft D365
- Ensure timely and organised communication with internal stakeholders regarding deliveries and provide necessary paperwork efficiently.
Skills and experience required to succeed in this interesting role:
- Two years of planning and scheduling experience
- Proficiency in using MRP planning software and tools
- Experience using Microsoft D365
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to Collaborate as part of a team, as well as work independently
