We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to ensure the smooth operation of projects and business processes. This role focuses on people management, operational efficiency, and on-site leadership. You will work closely with our senior leadership team, project managers, supervisors, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards with a solid focus on business growth.
What awaits you:
- Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm
- Permanent position available
- Hybrid role, Perth office based and required to travel FIFO to Karratha on-site work

About the role:
As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Lead and manage project teams to align with company goals.
- Work towards set KPI targets
- Oversee resource allocation for optimal utilisation and efficiency.
- Conduct regular site visits to support teams and address challenges.
- Implement team development plans, including coaching and training.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Streamline operational processes and enhance efficiency.
- Ensure project methodologies align with industry best practices.
- Conduct regular audits and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage project planning and execution from inception to completion.
- Ensure HSE compliance during operational site inspections
- Monitor activities for alignment with project specifications and standards.
- Collaborate closely with site supervisors to uphold safety protocols.
- Oversee budget tracking and overall financial performance of projects.
- Review and approve billing processes for alignment with contracts.
- Conduct scheduled reviews of project budgets and financial performance.
- Provide strategic input on operational improvements and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with leadership to shape the company's long-term direction.
- Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to decision-making.
To excel in this role, you'll need:
Experience and skills:
- Minimum of 5 years in an Operations Manager role, preferably in civil construction or mining.
- Proven track record in operations management focused on business growth, people and process improvement.
- Strong leadership skills with team development experience.
- Experience in resource planning and managing multiple projects.
- Ability to oversee operations in remote areas, including Perth and Pilbara.
- Degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Relevant industry certifications and training.
- Proactive leader with strong decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

- Strong work ethic and commitment to continuous improvement.
