About us
We are excited to offer a permanent opportunity as a Truck Driver, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of our products to customers. You will be required to load and unload timber and building materials to customers and site builds. Manual handling of items may be required at times to load and offload smaller items.
When you aren't on the roads completing deliveries, you will be require to support in looking after the yard, picking and packing customer orders, and assisting where possible.
Additionally, you will conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, plan routes, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
About the role
- Delivers high-quality products to our customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner
- Establishes and maintains outstanding relations with customers
- Manual handling of goods in and out of truck at times
- Inspects delivery vehicles and ensures the safety and security of the loading and unloading process.
- Yard assistance may be required at times
- High awareness of site safety and duty of care for your team, staff and site visitors
- Manual handling of goods and stock (may including, timber, wood, plasterboard, other building materials from time to time)
- Finally have a 'hands on' with a 'can do' attitude
- Automatic Transmission - 3 trucks - 14 tonnes | 8 tonne | 4 tonne
To be successful, you will possess the following:
- MR licence or above (mandatory)
- Forklift licence (mandatory)
- Driving Record required (if successful, you must provide this - mandatory)
