Momentum is currently working with several clients in Western Sydney and the NSW area looking to expand their teams and bring in an experienced Mechanical Fitter. The roles involve working in fast moving goods industries, field service work and industrial environments carrying out installation and maintenance works. The opportunities available cover both temporary and permanent opportunities.

About the role

· Install, maintain and repair mechanical systems, equipment and machinery

· Be able to interpret schematics and technical drawings

· Diagnose the root cause of mechanical faults/issues

· Carry out preventative maintenance

· Keep thorough records of repairs and maintenance work





To be successful, you will possess the following:

· Experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Maintenance Fitter

· Strong knowledge of mechanical tools, systems and components

· Relevant mechanical qualifications

· Ability to problem solve and diagnose faults

· Experience working with hydraulics (desirable)

· Working at heights and/or with cranes (desirable)
