Our client has a position for an experienced Industrial A grade Electrician with mechanical skills to join their modern warehouse out at Tullamarine. In this role, you'll be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our Materials Handling Systems (MHS) and other freight equipment.

About the role
As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for the following:
- Committing to a 3pm - 11pm shift, 5 days a week.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations and company policies.
- Undertake handyman tasks such as minor repairs and general maintenance duties
- Follow maintenance plans to prevent equipment breakdowns and perform necessary repairs to restore functionality.
- Working daily with Automations within the warehouse.
- Perform electrical maintenance and repairs in accordance with industry standards.
- Uphold safety standards, ensuring a zero-injury environment, and foster a professional image with customers and suppliers.
- Running diagnostic tests and problem solving
To be successful, you will possess the following:
- Demonstrated/ Proven experience in an automation warehouse setting.
- Must have A grade Electrical License
- Must have EWP Ticket - Elevated work Platform or Scissor License
- Strong technical understanding of automated control systems in Materials Handling Systems (MHS) or high-speed processing environments.
- Solid mechanical aptitude and ability to read mechanical assembly drawings.
- High level of problem-solving skills
- Physically fit and healthy
- Full working rights - full time hours.
- Own car and PPE
